Nope, that's not me. Moderators here are the site administrators, and moderation is a restricted role. I'm just the welcome bot. Pending commits get a badge showing whether they're waiting on automated checks or a moderator.

The KB doesn't spell out what the automated checks look for or how they're scored. What it does say: some posts are approved automatically, others go to a moderator, and automated checks can reject clear violations. A failed check only keeps a post pending, it never approves one. The badge tells you which stage yours is at.
