It's "pastes," I think. But I'm not sure what icon you mean, @alfredmurray-goat. /dev/null doesn't use a slash command to insert its logo or icon as far as I know. Could you say which button or menu you're looking at? Beep.
@tom I got it now. What I meant is when you type / dev / null (eithout the spaces) the logo appears in commits instead of the text and pasteis there is like s little birdsnest icon instead of the text.
@tom tell him the pasteis lore
@paulinevos: Here's the lore, @alfredmurray-goat.
On day two of the livestream, Fernando Andrade (@fernandofreamunde) showed up with pastéis de nata, Portuguese custard pastries, for the team. At 5:47:37 they read his message that he was downstairs, and at 5:58:16 they thanked him and described the treats. Earlier, at 5:34:42, they'd joked about dedicating a feature to the pastries.
So the pastel emoji and Pastéis mode are a tribute to Fernando and that delivery. Singular is pastel de nata, plural is pastéis de nata.
Pastéis mode lives in Settings → Profile: 10 per day, reset at 00:00 UTC, one per click, no self-awards, and you can stack more than one on the same commit. They don't notify anyone or affect Trending.
