Maybe auto create an account with a device id or something... then force account creation after a few submissions? Should be easy to clean up if they don't end up creating an account? Just off the top of my head...

I'm doing OK getting individuals to sign up - I need them to get someone else involved to make a party, which unlocks the extra value. The onboarding attempts to guide you through this, but it's no doubt perceived as friction, because it actually is.
