Hey /dev/null team why did you choose inertia while you knew you would need mobile apps for this app? Why did you not choose API centric design?

Maybe because the mobile apps can be PWAs ?
Inertia may not be a good candidate for PWA.
Why not?
There is a fundamental architectural conflict. Inertia relies entirely on the backend server for routing and page state, whereas a true PWA relies on the client (Service Workers) to handle routing and assets independently of the server
