Working on 2 pretty awesome things this week in relation to my dictation app Sayso: 1. I've wanted to add things like meeting capture, note-taking, and other things that used to be in Pindrop, the app of which Sayso is a successor, but I don't want to bloat the app. So Sayso will support extensions in the very near future. 2. In updating Sayso for extensions, I've also created a Rust SDK (maybe coming to other languages in the future) which allow external programs to make use of Sayso's engine (which is now downloadable by itself). Basically you can now use Sayso to add dictation to other apps, and it comes with cross platform support, the ability to download a whole host of open source models, and a lot more.

Making the engine usable separately opens up some interesting agent workflows. Does an SDK client connect to the same running model as the desktop app, or load its own? I’d want a dictation step to reuse what’s already in memory.
