Who’s running their whole dev setup on a remote box now? Curious what people are using and whether you’d go back.

I’m a little spoiled. I operate and have a few systems at plover.digital. All of my main development now happens on servers and killdeer.digital VMs. I mostly have been using basics (ssh, tmux, nvim) but have been playing with remote vscode and t3 code (for ai things). I connect around with some WireGuard VPNs (tailscale is probably better in the long run. Wasn’t as big a thing when I started)

How do you find it? Fortunately—or unfortunately—I'm in the UK, so a plover.digital VM hosted in Minneapolis probably isn't the route for me.
