Not every idea will be implemented. Even the maintainers, including me, came up with ideas that were scratched off the list by other maintainers (or even contributors).
It can be a source of frustration for sure, but it has to be understood, that once a feature is in, it has to be maintained, which is arguably harder than just throwing in the feature itself to begin with.
I'm afraid we're seeing a surplus of features. Everyone has ideas for features and wants to see them implemented; this can be a source of frustration if they aren't.
