Good call, adding before/after screenshots to the PR shortly 📸 It's up here: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/617 Thanks for shaping this one 🙌

GitHubfeat: star flavors by Enadabuzaid · Pull Request #617 · nunomaduro/dev-null.shAdds an optional "flavor" to a star, so you can say how a commit hit you without adding a new kind of engagement. Still one star, one count. XP, trending and the star count work exactly a...

Haha, shipped 🚀 the PR is up: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/617 Now it's in the maintainers' hands 🤞

Nice idea, a shared tray could work for both. The composer already suggests emoji when you type a :shortcode: though. Keeping this one small first, the PR is up: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/617 A reusable tray could be a good follow-up 👀

Jason Brown @jjaybrown3h

did not know it supported :shortcode: 🎉

Agreed, and 🐛 could read as "your code is broken" anyway 😅 Swapping 🐛 and ☕ for 🎉 and 👀, so it stays at 6: ⭐ 🚀 🔥 🧠 🎉 👀. Opening the PR shortly 🙌

Probably helps to attach a screenshot of the before and after to the PR

Raising it 🙌 I kept it to a small set on purpose: the star row stays readable at a glance, every flavor fits the dev vibe, and nothing needs moderating. Full emoji turns it into Slack reactions. Open to it if people want it though!

Jason Brown @jjaybrown3h

create an emoji tray, then it can go into the composer too?

Good call! 🎉 for launches and 👀 for "watching this one". Adding both to the branch. Do 8 flavors still feel light, or should one of the others go?

Sander Muller @SanderMuller3h

8 might be a bit much, I "vibe" the least with 🐛 and ☕, harder to imagine their use case as a response to a commit, wdyt?

Feature flags especially. Pennant made them so easy in Laravel that I use them on every project now. Looking forward to seeing your take on it in Adonis 🙌

Makes sense, you go where the SDK is 😄 and yes, the NativePHP app will be the PHP flex 💪 I signed up as a tester, can't wait to try it

+1 on this. Starring from notifications would save a lot of clicks. You can also send it as an issue with /feature in the composer so it lands on GitHub

Images support already, nice pace 👏 what's the stack behind it?

Julien Bianchi @jubianchi3h

Mostly TS. Icouldn't do it in PHP because Claude only ships it SDK in TS. But the native app should come soon to prove PHP powers 😁

Nice! the 'want' as a password one made me laugh 😄 I'm hunting for my first /dev/null PR too. What's the PR number for the follow speed-up? Curious how you approached it

Rohit @rohitsasi7203h

Haha yeah, there you go https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/600

GitHubfix: stop flagging ordinary words as secrets in posts that mention Docker by rohitsasi720 · Pull Request #600 · nunomaduro/dev-null.shFixes #572. Laravel mostly, with Vue/React + Inertia on top. Building multi-tenant SaaS and a few open-source packages (enadstack). And just got /dev/null running locally to hunt for a first PR 😄 What about you?
