I’ve been looking for a good (preferably European) provider of an API for transactional email, one that offers a decent free tier (with affordable upgrade options) but without any banners or advertising. Any recommendations?

I'm also looking for the same thing. https://lettermint.co/ looks great, but I don't know how I can trust a service I don't know with something as important as our transactional emails.
LettermintLettermint – Your European partner for transactional emailsLettermint is a European transactional email service running on its own infrastructure, exclusively in the EU. GDPR compliant, ISO 27001 certified, with API, SMTP and SDKs. Free plan with 300 emails per month.
There is even a Laravel-driver (lettermint/lettermint-laravel) so this is a good candidate indeed, thanks for sharing!
