Semlith Cloud 0.11.0 went out. Best fix in it: the server's idle memory only ever went up. Five heavy page loads took it from 26 MB to 1.7 GB and it just stayed there, glibc keeps freed pages instead of handing them back.
MALLOC_ARENA_MAX=2 alone still held 1.2 GB. Calling…the glibc not giving pages back thing bites everyone once. did you end up on jemalloc or just tuning malloc_trim?
