I run Windows, but my entire dev environment, including PhpStorm instances all run inside WSL, so technically, I'm developing on Linux.

Up until the summer vacation I had been running Windows with WSL too. However with PhpStorm in Windows. In the end problems with PhpStorm's Junie and file management between Windows <> WSL <> Linux made me switch to Linux. Had Omarchy running on my laptop, also converted my desktop, really happy so far! Been working with Opencode mostly, checking out some other solutions like ampcode too, to make working on multiple things simultaneously possible.

Yeah I solved all of my Windows <> WSL issues by doing everything inside of WSL including running PhpStorm remotely via JetBrains Gateway. There's only have a thin-client running on Windows - the actual PhpStorm engine is running inside WSL. If I could, I would run my desktop on…
