I will be considering jQuery in my project going forward. LLMs write and maintain my project's frontend code anyway.

The right question should be: how many use jQuery in new projects in 2026?
I always choose Svelte for the frontend because it needs far less code than React and Vue, so, less tokens to burn. Also, faster results.

Publishing an app on the Play Store is just demotivating. I haven't even started for the App Store. Making users log in to your app makes things 10 times more complex.

Working on a project where AGENTS.md had reached 87KB, loaded in full every session. Now it's 10KB. I moved the instructions into small topic files and indexed them in the parent file, so each task reads only what it needs.

Slop goes to LinkedIn. 😂 Jokes apart, it does not matter if the text is generated by AI or not. It 100% depends on the value it is adding for the audience. This website itself is a good example to begin with. It is 95% AI, we can say, yet we are using it because it is adding…

Plz no more AI slop. If you didn't care to write it, why would someone care to read it?
I would agree. There was spell checks, grammarly and many other tools as well earlier. The important thing is - what context you have given when you created the post. If there is no personal touch, then it's just AI writing for AI. It has to be Human writing for Human using AI…
Old code can hide serious bugs for more than a decade. This week we saw it up close. A critical flaw in PHP, nicknamed "php2shell", was disclosed and fixed upstream. It let an attacker run code on a server without logging in. The bug had sat in PHP since 2012. Stronger AI models…
Version management can't be something that's a side hustle done by devs, dedicated Sysadmins are needed for this reason or a system to monitor and actual ownership of the process
