It has removed the dopamine for me. The enjoyment I glean from development always came from the coding itself... from the struggles and difficulties, the puzzle solving, the challenge of turning ideas into functioning code. The outcome/product is almost incidental, and rarely the reason I do this work. AI is increasingly wresting all that from me, and no doubt many others like me.

I think there’s deeper question here r we losing the joy of coding or simply moving too fast to enjoy the process anymore? AI incredible accelerator bt not every struggle needs to be eliminated sometimes puzzle itself is the reward! Maybe we need to reclaim the pace not abandon…
