Now I understand why ppl run nixos in a vm as a primary working env (on a mac)

Why do they? Not familiar with nix

Consistency is the key. Example: I use nixos on a cloud workspace at work. We replace cws pretty often, and I’m glad that all of my configs still works fine on a brand new cws without spend hours setting it up
