I have not patched one of my old server. I run some legacy PHP 8.1 applications on Ubuntu 18.04. It doesn't support PHP 8.2 Has anyone managed to upgrade Ubuntu to 20.04 and then 22.04 without losing any data?

tk snapshot ..clone server.. test sequential upgrades.. verify PHP applications before touching production.. ur concern data then u need tk snapshot 🤠

I'll definitely take snapshots. Do I have to upgrade packages on 20.04 and test before 22.04?
