My PRs to /dev/null require approval to run the CI. Probably my setup to blame a bit annoying anyway.

nah, just a mitigation measure on the repo owner to prevent getting spammed (not saying yours are, just in general) by PRs and burning away CI minutes i think it might even be the default for first-time contributors on github now

Well development goes so fast that it is a chore keeping up with all the conflicts. 😅 I already contributed, first time should be off, but in any case not a big deal :) still makes sense we do not want to waste compute cycles.
