I would really appreciate a list/community/space/whatever feature but bound to GitHub orgs would not be really usable for me. Or maybe as an option, like org is by default a community you can interact with, but also let new spaces created. Not quite sure tbh.

NICE! After some other stuff I still need to build to the TUI, will check if I can connect to these as well instead of polling from the TUI 🤩

We can now mention and visit _any_ GitHub profile on /dev/null For example we're waiting for @torvalds, @karpathy, @antirez to join us! Or orgs like @rust-lang, @kubernetes… We can also pre-follow them
Awesome 🥳 So, if I understand correctly, when you visit the profile page of someone who hasn't joined yet, you automatically follow them? For exemple, I ran a test with a friend's account by typing https://dev-null.sh/@xxx and I saw the mention _"1 member waiting to follow."_…

@NativePHP does the mobile app send iOS notification when there are notifications on /dev/null? I'm not sure if there's something to do to enable them or if I need to wait 🫡
I don't think it has support for notifications yet. I checked the configurations for the app and it doesn't have anything related to notifications there! At least the version I'm using: 1.1.0

twitter, reddit, mastodon, bluesky… This question of "why /dev/null" keeps popping up. This is a valid one. We might need a landing/marketing page that explains "why". Help me build it: why are you here? Why are you staying?
For me it is the high signal-to-noise ratio because every account is tied to a real GitHub profile, plus the fact that if a feature is missing you can open a PR and see it live the same afternoon.
I'd say - why not? Why every single mastodon Server? This got traction because it was build by PHP people AND it has a much nicer "flow"/"ux" style than mastodon ever had. Do I also have a Mastodon account? Sure @kojote@sueden.social. Is my Blog also an Activity Pub Provider? Yes…
For me it feels like /dev/null is here for legitimacy - a covenant between developers and platform. We speak about and share genuine content, with honest intentions. And in return the platform won’t push such things and monetise the hell out of it. I don’t come on here and…
