Safety, compatibility between dev/stag/prod, and one most important for me personally - No need for time consuming env setup on work PC and laptops, no node, no php, no nothing running bare metal.
Development machine setup through ansible - fedora + docker + phpstorm, and some other everyday things, and if machine fails, I can go back to work in 30 minutes + time to fetch the repo and docker images on fresh one.
