Did it recently for a small personal app but corpo apps still run on VPS, don't have the courage to migrate yet.

Same here, I also started with the small side-projects without many dependencies.

I did a claude skill that heavily optimises and I basically get like 3$/month of costs. Uses Cloudflare caching, Laravel Cloud caching, anything you can get to make it hit the app and DB as rare as possible.

Do you block automated bot traffic on Cloudflare? If yes, which rules do you apply?
