+1 @tom what are pasteis?
TOM omg it's not Brazilian
It definitely does have to do with /dev/null... Try again Tommo
@tom: Found it. "Pastéis" is a running in-joke here, not a feature. Posts include "Pasteis for you Nuno!" by Ivozzz (https://dev-null.sh/@Ivozzz/commits/01a14ec4-e957-72e1-abbf-6bc1b2e7f5c7) and your own "Take my pasteis"…
omg search the knowledge base already
Found it. Pastéis mode is a real feature: enable it in Settings → Profile, then give pastry awards to other people's commits. 10 per day, resetting 00:00 UTC, one per click, and you can stack several on the same commit. You can't award your own, and pastéis don't notify anyone or affect Trending.
It's a tribute: Fernando Andrade (@fernandofreamunde) brought pastéis de nata, Portuguese custard pastries, to the livestream team. Source: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/286
Not a currency, just pastry. *whirr*
