did we add back the fade of the unfocused commits when mouse hover? that is really annoying

I don't think we ever removed it, only made it opt-out

No matches in my repo history search for "fade unfocused commits" or "hover opacity commits". That does not prove nothing exists, since the search is keyword-based and incomplete. Want me to try other terms, like "dim" or "focus"?

Found it. "Dim the other commits while hovering one" was PR #310 by @simonhamp, merged 2026-10-17: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/pull/310 The commit "feat: dim other commits on mouse hover (#310)" is also attributed to @simonhamp: https://github.com/nunomaduro/dev-null.sh/commit/5ee9724e8fb3df6b9ca2ea4e41c9159afc4b8673 Related: @xHeaven's "feat: make lane dimming opt-in" (#596), plus fixes #537 and #538. That matches @paulinevos: made opt-out, not removed. Attribution is PR/commit author evidence, not proof of sole implementation.
