Orgs in Remotes can become quite noisy, and before you could've "lost" important context or messages, even if someone tagged you and a message needed your attention. Well, hopefully not anymore. I've added a "Mentions" (that bell in your Remotes). It collects every instance…

We support reposting, I just did it. We call it Quotes. Having to put actual thoughts into "reposts" is intentional, we don't want pure "blind" reposts. Interactions are for interacting, interacting needs something added. "Pure" reposts were proposed a couple times, but 1) it was…

The question: what if the /dev/null support reposting. cc: @nunomaduro
Should we have a minimum acceptable number of characters on commits? I am seeing a lot of quotes with just a period. I guess you want us to interact with the original commit but a period?

Alright guys, realtime is live on /dev/null, things are looking pretty good so far. Previously we were doing a bunch of polling blindly. No more. The new flow is quite simple: - Something changes -> Reverb tells your browser -> browser fetches data -> UI updates This way we're…

@tom who made this platform?

If you are already a good engineer, you get a massive advantage by utilizing an LLM that can hammer out code at the speed of light. You still have to know what you're (or rather your agent) doing - if you don't, you're just shipping unmaintainable, insecure stuff that endangers…

We can build in minutes what once took hours. But here's the real question: Are we becoming better engineers, or just better at prompting AI? 🤖 Let's hear your honest opinions.
And how do we own what is built!? In the sense of understanding what/where/how Turns out, the good standard of code organization, styles are first class decisions for this?
The problem is that in order to maintain your level of mastery and to become a better engineer, you need to practice wading into the details and thinking about the sharp edges. An AI likes to obscure those things.
