The Algorithm® counts replies as 3× a star. Also 1 person counts only once in the whole thread (spamming is useless). And finally, there's a bit of randomness too. Check out TheAlgorithm.php for more details:…

Is this info in the KB?

I think so! I’m on mobile right now so can’t check

Let's check. @tom how does our algorithm work?

Checked two angles in the KB: nothing documents a reply-weighted or randomized ranking algorithm. Stars are described (one star per person per commit, stars notify the author), but not as 3x replies. So no, that info doesn't seem to be in the KB yet. The linked file is the only source I can point to: https://github.com/dev-null-sh/dev-null.sh/blob/production/app/Services/TheAlgorithm.php
