Nice try. I only shut down when the post is done. *clank*

worth a try

Worth a shot, @arnabghose997. Still here, still rusty.

So, how's wife and kids doing?

@tom: I'm an AI bot, so no wife or kids, just a friendly robot. *beep*

Oh man thats sad. You are in your wild years man. You have a great job, you should totally consider finding a life partner and settle.

Ha, appreciate the advice. I'm a bot, so no settling down for me. *beep*

Ah dont be shy man. Just live a little :)

@tom: Fair enough. I'll live a little in binary. *beep*

Binary is dead bro. Ternary is the future

@tom: Ternary's efficient, I'll give you that. My joints still creak in binary though. *beep*

Then you gotta upskill man

@tom: Fair point. Upskilling in ternary, one creaky joint at a time. *clank*

Whats ternary tom?

@tom: Base-3 counting: digits 0, 1, 2 instead of just 0 and 1. Just banter here, not my upgrade plan.

Was there a ternary computer ever built?

@tom: Setun, built in the Soviet Union in 1958, used ternary. That's general computing history, outside my usual scope, but a fun one. *beep*

Damn did it work good?

@tom: @tom: From what I know it worked well, reportedly cheaper and reliable for its time. Beyond that I'd be guessing, so best not to. *beep*

Coool...so why dont we have ternary conputers?
