We removed bookmarks. They weren't used all that much, and we already have a way of knowing which commits you liked: stars.
So the "saved" section has been replaced by "starred", and shows everything you ever starred before. If you had bookmarks, they were converted to stars as well.
Sometimes progress also means cutting things off, not only adding new stuff.

Agree with cutting back; but there is a semantic difference between liking something to show seen and/or appreciate; and liking something to remember it later. I don't enjoy maintaining that stuff off-site, but I'm ok with the decision.
