We removed bookmarks. They weren't used all that much, and we already have a way of knowing which commits you liked: stars.

(1) it's too early, mostly people are saying hello and sharing shallow sentiments, so there isn't much "quality" content to bookmark.
(2) stars/likes are generally given out more liberally than bookmarks, which means sifting through to find what you want is more difficult without tiered saving.
(3) removing bookmarks may actually suppress usage of stars for users that would prefer bookmarking, as they co-opt stars for that functionality.
