I actually built something to handle that because I wasn't a fan of the existing solutions https://github.com/watzon/ship This + Claude + Vultr for hosting and I rarely have issues with shipping or keeping production and staging separate anymore.

this is a different level of what I meant. for actual deploys Kubernetes. for small things coolify or DO App Platform. Laravel Cloud is nice too.

Ahh you see, I don't like Kubernetes because it's overkill for 98% of projects and pretty expensive to run. I don't like Coolify and similar apps because I don't really need a GUI anymore and I constantly run into trouble with them breaking my stuff, and Laravel Cloud and similar…
