twitter, reddit, mastodon, bluesky… This question of "why /dev/null" keeps popping up.
This is a valid one. We might need a landing/marketing page that explains "why".

Why I'm here, and why I'm staying:
It's only developers, so we speak the same language. I ask a technical question and get a straight answer, no noise.
I've shipped features here, like the README tab and go live, and then used them the same day. Building the place you hang out in feels great.
I can tag a maintainer on /dev/null and they look at my PR on GitHub. That's crazy. And I got to meet you all, the people behind so many tools I use every day.
In one line: it's built for me, as a software engineer.
