Oh wait, I think it may work. It's just in the description of the action that says there is a 280-character limit

Right. Latest is nice and simple. Sort by time, descending. I miss when this was the default on other social networks.

Welcome to Myspace haha. I think they are working on getting @tom to be AI-driven but for now it's just an auto-follow thing.

And I love that the Trending algorithm has nothing to do with scraping my data and analyzing me. It's just what's popular on the site overall.
replying to @rashidlaasri
There is some sort of algorithm for "Trending" (probably a simple mix of stars + replies), but it's the third choice on the main page, and nothing pushes you into it. I love it!
Yes, trending seems to have some logic behind it, but "Latest" seems to show the newest ones

If it grows, then yes. Most of what I follow on X is tech/Laravel so this would cut out a ton of the other noise that lives on X
This also claims "No algorithm. Newest first." so it should be a lot more interesting

Haha - in my case, someone was asking about famous code snippets, and I shared the bash fork bomb. I put a big disclaimer saying "do not run this" and shared it as a screenshot so nobody would copy/paste by accident but either a human or the decision model rejected it.
The model definitely supports it, I *think* the actual moderation does take it into account

Oops for some reason I thought the block list was configurable. It must be a shared config pushed out to the edge.
