Do you guys prefer self-hosting or deploying your apps with a cloud provider? I do both, but I think of migrating more stuff to cloud.

I have been using the Forge + Hetzner combo for all my personal projects lately and never regretted it. Considering trying out Ploi (also with Hetzner) for another project because of privacy reasons. The cloud never won any comparison, usually because of pricing. I guess it always depends on the context of the specific project. I am a little biased, though, because I've had too many bad experiences in business context with my past day jobs. Mostly managers who pushed for the cloud even though it was always the bad choice in the given context. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
